This year we’re once again opening up our Floristry space for a more intimate Wreath Making Workshop. A chance to see where we grow everything you will be using and really immerse yourself into the magic of Babylon. We will show you how to create your moss base then use a selection of foliage including berried Ivy, Monterey Cyprus and Spruce to create a wonderfully wild wreath. Decorate with all the dried goodies from Babylon’s beds and meadow, seed heads, Hydrangea, berries etc and finish with silk and velvet ribbons.
All materials will be provided and for morning workshops coffee and locally made cake will be served and for evening workshops there will be mince pies and mulled wine. These workshops will be outside and whilst we will be under cover and the fire pit will be roaring it will likely be festively chilly so please do wrap up warm and bring gloves if you wish. If the weather is too cold or wet we will of course move inside.
There are various local pubs we can recommend for lunch and (as well as a wonder around the nursery) we have lovely walks from our studio if you want to make a day of it.
